Howdy, I'm
Mackenzie
I'm an old soul, through and through.
I'm for old-fashioned skills and ways of preserving our heritage. Whether growing a garden, sewing, horseback riding, baking bread, canning vegetables, hunting, woodworking, writing songs, among other things; my heart beats for the life of days gone by. As I grow older, I only yearn to only get closer to this way of living.
Strong-valued. Determined. Equal parts grit and grace. My stubborn heart always keeps me pressing forward.
I have a keen love for horses; which doesn't sway too far from my other values and hobbies. I find an immense connection to western culture and the values that go along with it.
My greatest passion is music. My soul finds home in playing guitar, singing, songwriting and living inside the melodies of country & western and bluegrass music.
On another note: I relish in antiquing, creating cozy spaces through home design, western fashion, creating in any capacity, and road tripping.
Born in the prairies of Saskatchewan, I currently find myself in southern, Alberta. My heart pines for open spaces.

why brand photography?
I've been shooting professionally since 2016, dabbling in everything from family to wedding photography. If it isn't obvious, I adore visual storytelling. But, perhaps, even more than that...I am genuinely passionate about helping other entrepreneurs and small business owners grow and succeed. And so, I found my way to brand photography. From one entrepreneur to another, I know the struggles and am here to help you keep your love for why you started.
